An agreement between Binance Pool and BitRiver, one of the largest mining data centers in the CIS region, may be extremely beneficial in Binance’s efforts to attract more miners to join their platform.
Binance will deploy a physical server node for the Binance Pool at the physical location of BitRiver, providing their clients with a direct connection to the mining pool, should they decide to switch from their competitor BTC.com.
Miners on-location use up 70 out of 100MW from BitRiver’s capacity or approximately 1,000 PH/s.
Although details of the arrangement are not public, sources say that Binance will offer competitive fees for BitRiver’s clients.
It’s not clear whether Binance made any form of payment to BitRiver for the privilege of installing a Bitcoin node, so close to the miners.
Other mining pools may look to this as an example and provide similar nodes for easy connections to data centers such as BitRiver.
